The new self-fitting trigger is an accessory that is installed directly on the rods mounted on the IceJigger and the IceJigger Type R. It allows to induce an adjustable tension in the rod of the rod which will be released at the time of an attack on the lure. The sudden release of tension allows the fish to be hooked. It is a good addition to the ice fishing arsenal allowing the fishing to be adapted to the mood of the fish.
Note: The use of this accessory requires a reverse mounting to the traditional mounting of the rod in the IceJigger, in this case with the reel down, so that the tension is induced in the natural direction of the rod.
1. OPENING THE TRIPOD
Extend the legs to the desired length (ideally maximum). Then, assemble the case on the tripod by inserting the female part of the case into the male part of the tripod and tighten the handle to secure them together.
2. POSITIONING
Place the clamp perpendicular to the housing and tighten the knurled bolt.
3.1 INSTALLATION
Open the clamp by pushing the button down and install your ice fishing rod. Be sure to position the reel upward. The end of the rod should point to the front of the case and the clip on the handle should be in front of the reel (Positioning of the rod).
